Visited here as my good friend was looking for a place to work on his canal barge. What a setting! Unfortunately the cafe has just closed, hence the 4 stars and not 5. I'm happy that it would be a 5 star review if I'd enjoyed a coffee whilst sat here though! It's certainly a dramatic setting, look one way and you'd be forgiven for thinking you were on the French Riviera. Turn 180 and 'BAM!' your right across the road from the disused power station and its massive towers (we were told that there are plans to demolish these soon but I really hope not, it creates a lovely juxtaposition between nature and industry). Beautiful.

Fabulous Sunday lunch and yummy cheesecake pud. Don't be put off by Google maps photos of the building. The food and staff are super!

Party of six catered for Sunday lunch after pre-order via Facebook. Incredibly good food that isn't pretentious and large portions. Large roast dinner was £11 and homemade Yorkshire puds lovely. Served by an attentive and friendly young lady who was very caring to the needs of the two children in the party. Pat yourselves on the back, that was great - thanks a lot.

Today is a bit wet and came across with puddles but it was worth visiting Redhill Marina Cafe as the roast beef is expectedly good. I believe the food is from local farm. Amazingly good!!! Definitely will come again.

I love this place, friendly and welcoming, they do a fabulous breakfast. Have enjoyed eating our way through the breakfast menu and especially like the sausages. It is a bit off the beaten track but well worth a visit. If you sit outside you get a great view of the river and the boaters passing by
